Ashok Saxena, MS, PhD is a professor of Pain medicine and Anesthesiology and is involved in pain research at University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, India, where he is active in both translational research and in clinical practice of pain management. He leads a program of deep profiling studies mainly in patients with PHN, painful DPN, HIV neuropathy, carpel tunnel syndrome and cancer induced neuropathic pain and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy and radiation-induced neuropathy. He has pioneered the use of relevant outcome measures and he has validated DN4 questionnaire in local Hindi language.
