IASP Cadaver Lab - Pain Management
An innovative overview by a leading world-class faculty across spinal cord stimulation, targeted drug delivery, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and radiofrequency therapy.
A hands-on cadaver workshop focusing on implantable technologies, specifically: spinal cord stimulators, targeted drug Delivery, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulators, and radiofrequency/peripheral nerve technologies and uses.
The course will consist of 4 stations in a 4-hour session. The course chairs have prepared a course manual, which will be distributed prior to arrival in Amsterdam to preserve valuable hands-on time – allowing for 4 hours of instruction. We will focus on technique and best practices of each technology, and each session will be tailored to the interests of the individual group. During this time, participants will be able to ask questions and get personal experience with the technical aspects, using a human cadaver and fluoroscopic guidance to learn, practice, and enhance their skills for these implantation procedures.
